my freelander 2002 petrol fuel gauge reads full all the time the the x431 diagnostic tester said the fuel pump relay is going direct to the battery the fuel gauge earths through the fuel pump relay according to the wiring diagram ,anyone know where the fault is i have tried another relay

my 99 diesel keeps jumping out reverse gear if i put in 2nd or 4th it will stop in i have had it over a pit and i can't see anything worn on the linkage i fitted a new engine stabiliser underneath but it made no difference i wondered if anyone else had this problem , thanks don
