Hi guys,I'm having a problem with my hevac slightly dimming when I apply the brakes and suppression noise from the stereo(clarion hk) and I want to check the earth strap connections first but I haven't a clue where they are,as always any help is much appreciated,cheers,Lee.

There is a company on eBay that offer a re-trim for about the £200 mark but they are in Somerset I think but will do a same day turnaround,could be a nice day out!

Hi guys,I haven't been using my dse for the the last two weeks due to a knackered F I P,drove it over to the garage late yesterday got out and I get the ignition key in msg,this means I can't lock the car and it won't do it manually either,any help,as always,very gratefully received.

what would cause the actuator to come up on diagnostics if it wasnt the problem,i'll test the in tank pump tomorow now that the dry weather is here!

this is why i have a small doubt,i ran out of fuel due to a incorrect fuel gauge....twice,and the lack of power happened around the same time,its non egr and the pipe to the map sensor was replaced recently due to it being split,the car has been down on power for at least 6 months with it not...

just picked the car up and was told it is the fuel quantity actuator that is at fault (from diagnostics)does that mean i have to replace the pump as he is suggesting or can i get this part replaced/repaired at a pump specialist and would that be the most economical way to go? i do trust the man...

Thanks everyone,I've just spoke to him and was told its the fuel regulator(?) in the pump that's had it,think I'm going to pick it up and have a proper look myself,I only sent in there on a whim!

Thanks for the reply,I'm assuming it was on diagnostics but i am speaking to him tomorow,It's been down(slightly) on power and i spotted a fuel leak at the fip,I know it has been on diagnostics,I'll update tomorow,thanks again.
