Hi,I've just attempted a temporary fix to my sagging headlining and thought I would let you know how I done it,first I unclipped the rubber seal around the tailgate and then gently pulled the edge of the headlining down to expose the massive void between the fibreglass and the material,I the sprayed liberally both surfaces with a contact adhesive, waited for a few minutes then starting from the back of the sunroof I used a warmed up travel iron to press the cloth back, working from the centre to one side at a time,it's not perfect but does seem well glued,we will have to see, only took me ten minutes and made realise how dirty the headlining is!

I did that on mine a few weeks back, a couple of warm days later and it looked like I had curtains at the rear window.

What happened to me was the adhesive did not have enough of a key to grip to because the foam on the top side of the material had disintegrated into a dust. The end result was I has to tear the whole lot out and I am in the process of re-lining at the moment in suede. Very big job......

I tried the same quick fix and few weeks later the headlining was sagging like a set of granny's tits so prob better doing it right like dopeys fix

Quick question on this. When I bought my P38 they fix the headlining, but it will come down again eventually... Now I like the tissue touch but nobody came with a final fix for this using something else than tissue glued to the roof??? I would personally won't mind having a hard plastic headlining solution instead of tissue (if well designed of course)
