Sorry my mistake my mate has just confirmed that only the front prop is turning when drive is selected

OK thanks,,, I think its selecting as both props are turning when in drive

It was single cable,, apparently the plastic gears wear away.

Thanks m8,, I will look into fitting a new earth to engine tomorrow.. I have been at it all night and cant see anything untoward. Sometimes it doesnt do it and everything is fine, but then I flash main beam and the stereo turns off.. ITs a pain in the ass
