What have you done to your Landie today.

Relocated three little switches to central panel. Installed new stereo head unit (waste of time - still can't hear it!). Fitted an ex-Army steel toolbox to inner wing. Fitted more tie-down hoops for internal storage. Emptied rain water from reversing light. Repaired a stone chip in the...

What have you done to your Landie today.

Fitted chequer plate to the rear door of my Hardtop 90 to strengthen it and to hide the 'skin cancer' ;) Very pleased with the result ... but I might need to trim the CP a little as it's in danger of fouling the wiper arm a touch. Might just get the Dremel to it .... :D

    7 seats & the police

Agree with all the above. I once owned a 7-seater Fourtrak and never had any unwanted attention when the rear two sideways seats were occupied.

    Starting problem

Sounds very familiar. I had the very same symptoms on my Defender TD5 and it turned out to be a poor connection, corrected simply by wiggling the small, exciter wire to the starter solenoid (which I was shown by the RAC Man ...:o). Corrected in seconds. :) Good luck!
