I'd just go for the replacement K&N filter, rather than the induction kit - I fitted one to my 300tdi disco and noticed a marked improvement - It is then easy enough to replace with a std paper filter if you are going anywhere that is particularly dusty etc.

These are easily replaceable - just pull the swith out and you will see the bulbs either on top of the switch, or poss underneath - unscrew and replace - bout £1.50 each - quick and easy job

I had this problem with my discovery 300tdi, I changed the oil pressure senor ( located just above the oil filter), cost me about £5 - easy job and well worth ruling out.

Hi guys, I had exactly the same problem on my 300tdi, (158K on th clock) - Fitted a nw oil pressure sensor £4.95, took 5 mins to do and no more flickering oil light - EASY!

With mine I lock it with the key instead of using the remote locking fob - this turns the alarm on but not the interior sensors.

I have finally got round to taking the CAT off and fitting the new pipe - WOW - what a difference! It picks up so much quicker and feels like a new motor - I have also fitted a K&N filter in the air box and must admit that makes a difference too - I intend to keep the K&N in for normal road...
