Guys,
I've spent the last halfhour or so using the search function, some good stuff on there, but it does'nt answer my question:-
Do Landrover do switches/wiring that will raise the front windows on 'one touch'?
They work to lower the windows, but to raise them, you have to keep your finger on the button all the way up - not a big problem, I know, but previous motors have all had this one touch function. Is this something that can be done with a change of switch, or re-wiring the existing?

Your advice would be appreciated.

Cheers,

We had this system on a big Vauxhall some time ago. One potential problem is that you need a safety system to stop it trapping people's heads, cutting children's fingers off etc, so you need to incorporate sensors for this. The follow-on from this is that when local yob smashes the window to nick your tapes (it WAS some time ago) the windscreen people can't cope with the sensors - every time the new window went up it came down again until we took it back to a Vauxhall dealer. The Freelander has a sensor of this sort on the rear window - if the window is obstructed it will go down again, which is a pain if it leads to your luggage falling out the back on the M1 but that's beside the point - so you might be able to adapt that?
