    Bulkhead, cappings, inner wings, loads of brackets back from galvanizers... we have progress... wiring loom being repaired.. new fuel tank arrived...wheels and tyres off Ebay.. rebuild is go!!!!!

    Thanks.. got loads more to spray on it as we go on...Anything that cant be seen will be covered in Vactan and Raptor.. Anything that can be seen should be galvanized and covered in zinc primer before painting..should outlast me anyway ..f***ing rebuild will probably outlast me

    Mine wasn't quite that bad, but new vent panels, new legs?, new feet, new footwells and lots of cutting plates and welding resulted in this.. just back from blasters, going to galvanizers

    that was just a bag of kiln dried sand.. no dust and gives quite a good finish on the wing... water and sand everywhere though

    been trying one of these wet blasters.. attach to a pressure washer and it feeds the blast medium through with the water Second picture is a really old calliper I had lying around, and the 3rd is the inside of a defender wing

    chassis, axles etc etc blasted and primed in epoxy primer,. then a couple of coats of Raptor..£600. HTH
