Has anybody used Island 4x4 land rover specialists for parts?

Currently looking to replace my fuel tank and they have it at the cheapest, it's all britpart but they're the ones not charging as much as paddocks/craddocks.

any input?

It's for an STC613 tank for my ex-mod 2a.

ok cool cheers!

just hoping its the right tank. they have it listed as series 3 but other places have it for all military under seat 2a/3

cheers, i'll order.

Then call them , if they do not answer then I would suggest not buying, just in case it is wrong.

Cheers

I likes John Craddocks personally if I must interweb shop but prefer a jaunt over to Gotts in Alton for a brew an a chat while getting my rocks off looking at stuff that is way out of my price range.
I might have to take a mosey on up there at some point. I used paddocks before, i ordered the tank from island. Worked out alright so far, will see when it's delivered. :)

Yep very good, I've had replacement maf from them, and I think my rear springs, and I now get all my service kits from them, never once had a problem and very good on price!

Island don't have a phone no. any more.. bought loads off them over the years, even been there a few times, but you cant contact them any more if stuff is late

I've contacted them too recently, both times because their website won't accept my password and I never get an email back to reset it.
If I ring they eventually answer and he resets it after I send an email requesting him to.
All that's a bit off putting when I'm busy or in a rush for parts so I've returned to paddocks even though they are generally more expensive.
