this is true, over here we have less of an issue. Many years ago I had a Toyota Hilux Surf (no the head didn't blow, it;s not a gaylander!) and it was 500 per year to insure in the UK but only 250 to insure in the republic. I guess we are a bit more accepting of Jap imports than the UK.

Shift took the lines off and the the rest was simple mix of socket and spanner (I did swear a lot and they were a pigging mess) I've knicked this from somewhere else So, tackled the fuel injector replacement today...first, let me say that it was ridiculously easy. I tend to "overthink"...

would I be incorrect in thinking that the LR are still making 300tdi engines for the export market? I know it's not the most powerful, smooth or sophisticated engine but as we all agree it is very reliable on the whole and quite easy to maintain! I know my missus has a 1.9td Saab 93 (120 hp)...

check the injectors, mine were well fooked when I had the same symptoms in Janurary.
