how hard is it to fit bucket seats in a disco.cud they be bolted to the old runners or are new 1s for a disco avalible

I have just fitted a pair of bucket seats to my disco 1 that I got off eBay..... I had to modify the runners as the seats are narrower than the standard lr seats.... A bit of perseverance and work, but they fit fine now

Big slab of 6mm chequer plate bolted to original runners - then mount yours to that.

Did you use the Disco or Rover runners? Like it, it's a great way to upgrade tired old LR seats.

My plan was these....
Got them in ok...
Brand new half leather electric heated jobbies from a Merc Sport....
Only thing is they sit an inch or so too high for me (I am a tall bugger - 6'4), and to lower them means the seat box coming out, and its an auto so has a sloping transmission tunnel where I need to sink the runner, so lots of work
Now sat back in garage collecting dust, deciding what to do....did say the first £150.00 gets them (as need the space in my garage), as I can't let them go for less as already losing pennies at that price....
