Disco 2 Very tempted by a D2 v8 near me

I've had mine for 12 months now.. 2003 V8 ES LPG... same Zavoli system as listerdiesel has on his. I had the LPG system checked out by a local specialist a soon as I bought it which flagged up a temp sensor failing but 12 quid fixed that. Mine has a 60litre underslung LPG tank and a custom...

    I started the discovery seeking

LPG starts on petrol and mines kicks across to LPG when the coolant temp hits 36c. Once youre at running temp you can stop and start it on gas if you want but even if you don't it flicks to gas within seconds. I don't really measure my MPG but after a day of short hops and running around...

Disco 2 No AC - any ideas?

As Sierrafery has already suggested are you sure there is any refridgerant in the system? Not sure about the disco set-up but most other cc/ac systems will not fire up the compressor if the system pressure is too low.

Go for coils springs or can it be sorted?

If the height sensor is too extended it registers a fault and the compressor doesn't run. If you were trying to get the new bag to inflate with the car jacked up and the wheel off you need to put another jack under the rear axle and lift it to bring the sensor into range and it will inflate...

Go for coils springs or can it be sorted?

Mine started dropping on the drivers side, then would go days without dropping at all! I was told that as the rubber warms they can often 'self seal' allowing them to stay inflated. It would also drop on both sides depending which way round I parked it on the drive! Anyhow, bit the bullet and...

Help in the North west V8 D2 LPG

no offence taken but one post is generally enough! As I stated on your other post, get it into an LPG specialist as they will be able to read both petrol and lpg live data and identifiy the fault. As they are all too aware, if its playing up on petrol it'll be worse on gas! Once it running well...

That's not good news :( as listerdiesel says though... are you sure? what are the other tell tale signs? water in oil? have you had a sniff test done on the coolant? which garage do you use down there? the guy at the back of the ice cream factory who does all the classic cars/landys might be a...
