Hi there. Thinking of doing same to my Series 111. Did U use series transfer box or is Ur series now permanent 4 wheel drive now? IS it true Ashcroft dont do the adaptor for transfer box now? Appreciate any help / advice

Me to. Rear tailgate will not open. Window is dropping as is should when I operate the handle, but nothing else. Got rear panel off inside. But dont know how to open lock. Help PLEASE.

Many thanks. I did change the complete Crank Case filter housing so that should cover all. Am not use to searching these treads & sometimes get confused. But thanks again. David

What & where is Preasure Limiting Valve of TD4? I am confused. I changed Crankcase filter,fuel filter & Fitted EGR by-pass valve. I have 60,000 miles on TD4 and now U say there is another valve needs changing. HELP

Yes. If I could get an exchange unit, that would suit. Was offered another box yesterday. But its in a Series that is in a field for the past , God knows how many years. There is a lot of time in removing & fitting that I would just like to know what I am fitting.Help, please

Can anyone recommend where to get a gear box reconditioned? I have at this stage gotten three so called good gearboxes for Series 111. One as bad as the other. All I want is one that works.

I fitted EGR By=Pass to my TD4 and after day or so the engine makes a whinning sound after I switch it off as if a motor was spinning free and slowing down. Any ideas? At first I taught it was the tubro slowing down but dont think that is it. I Am confused

Hi there. Just to fill you all in. A few weeks back I opened the rear door and it refused to lock. So I had to strip dowm the door & lock mechanism. The solonid was not letting the lock go free once opened. I stripped & cleaned it and put some grease on it. Since doing this it is operating...

Thanks for that Pat. But it is the bearing that the shaft runs on that is worn. I have the viscus fan off but cannot get the bearing out of the housing. I have a replacement bearing ready to go in. The bearing is housed in the front engine casing. Any ideas? David
