    No Wipers, Windows, HEVAC etc

I jumped the input from ignition 1 in / out. This made the HEVAC light up and work except nothing else worked... The light was not lit up on the hevac, it was as if it was on limited power. Does this make lead to any potential problem?

    BECM Problems

The radio can work all the time, no matter what position the key is in... The kick panel seems ok, lots of wires are messey in there. What do you guys think? Ignition input 1 or 2? It's either or that is faulty for sure. I'm thinking it's number two because that is the one which when...

    BECM Problems

I've just realised something. The radio would work even if the car is switched off. Whereas everything else would not, you know. Wipers, HEVAC, windows only work when the key switch is in position 1/2. not when It is off. Where would the wire be that tells the BECM that the key is in the other...

    BECM Problems

Only the one cable to the becm to not powered. When I manually jumped the relay in the engine bay the stok on the steering wheel was able to control wiper speed. I think it is only certain parts of the becm which are not working. I might try fixing/ or replacing the top board on the becm. Will...

    BECM Problems

Is there a seperate negetive (Ground) for each of the three inputs? I'm starting to think all my problems are with the becm... Thats where the power is getting to but not going any further. I will use the wire which goes onto that connetor(the one with no spark) to power something else. That...

Range Rover p38 2.5 no Drive

Dont worry, I knew just topping it up was too good to be true. I floored it and bang. Was testing it out you know? awful grinding noice. Smells of burning too, like clutch... hardly moves and then other times it moves perfect. Will try and get it replaced quickly....

Range Rover p38 2.5 no Drive

Well, the gearbox gave up last night. I did top the oil up however the damage I believe was already done. The starting part of the auto box failed. For instance once its up to speed it drives perfect... Looks like a new gearbox for me! :(

Range Rover p38 2.5 no Drive

On the dipstick the oil is red and does not smell burnt... Sure if I top it wont do any harm I think because; either 1/ the gearbox for gone, so it will eventually fail anyways 2/ the oil is going and topping it up will get rid of the problems. Would this be a correct way of looking at...
