    I went through the same process Tony and came to the conclusion that you can't uses 525 pumps, I know many have but I had the same issues as you :( I'm now re-fitting a range rover one on but have the rebore the BMW engine casing as the range rover pump had a bigger bore than the bmw pump :(...

    Am I under the illusion that tyre pressures should be based on the car and not the size of your tyre? After all it's the weight of the car that the pressure is sorting out :)

    Hi Guys Cheers for the info :) I have a syncmate so no worries there. and am keeping with the original P38 ecu :) I have no issues with changing the pump can do it in under an hour start to finish :) Will carry on searching anyhow, I just want my Rangey working :(

    Hi Guys I have now managed to get my 2.5 DSE to run after doing an engine swap (had to bleed the injectors a lot), but now she won't rev at all. I am idling at about 600rpm, and when I push the accelerator pedal nothing happens, not even a 1rpm change. Any ideas? I need this working by...

    in tank pump is good as I can see fuel going to the main diesel pump :)

    Just checked the solenoid with a 12v feed and no difference, I can hear it click when the ignition initially is turned on, and then it clicks again when the ignition is off :)
