    L322 Madness. 4.4V8 or 3.6TDV8?

I basically have done just this, although I tried a RR sport for 8 months in between. Went for 4.4 TDV8 last April. Sport was V6 auto Diesel. Gear change quite "notchy" - to my mind, fuel consumption not much better than my beloved 4 litre P38 (on LPG). New one Gearbox smooth as silk. Fuel...

How to Check Map Version ?

Anyone out there know how I access the "dealer screens" on the satnav on a 2011 vogue SE please. Was a doddle on my old P38 but struggling to find info anywhere on this one. I need to check what map version /date I have as a few strange routing errors are happening. Thanks

    Terrible LPG mpg

Hi, best suggestion is get professautogas to look at it. That said replacing my MAF worked wonders on mine (as advised by profess). as old one was out. I know that when they work on my lpg system to monitor the fuel trim they get the car warm then turn off. Start it straight over to gas then...

EAS refusing to rise from access.

2002 4.0 New eas compressor / air bags / all leaks sorted within last 3 months.New shocks etc. Running fine (running brilliantly actually) then battery died. Friendly RAC guy pointed out wrong (to small) battery for car fitted. Garage replaced battery with same as fitted, Drove to shops...

    LPG systems

Have to add that my 4.0 rr converted 2 years ago by profess autogas. DVLV accepted certificate. Insurance co accepted certificate. I would argue that the major reason they are not UKLPG is that they will if asked avoid the dangerous practice of putting the filler in the bumper and instead mount...

    Range Rover Electrical Failure

I know this is a long shot but ...... Identical issues with my 2001 p38. Much testing etc, (including by garage) never find fault THEN happened one night when luckily a landrover "buff" around. Despite testing perfectly every time he was adamant it was the alternator. New alternator - end of...

    remote key fob problem!!!!

Hi all, I also live near the severn bridge. I prefer the official LandRover fix - which is free and works every time. When this happens touch metal part of key fob to rear window aerial - works every time. I have also found that pressing "lock" followed by "unlock" also seems to work

    Erratic steering on P38

I note you have wrangler tyres. I have been a bit unhappy with my 2001 p38's tendency to "whiteline" then recently somebody told me that this was common with Wrangler Tyres (previously on scorpion AT's) and to try increasing front pressure to 32lb (which may explain your 34) . I also bought a...

    you stupid prick.......

Took my 4.0 rangie to Proffautogas in Ystrad Mynach - not nearest BUT do a same day service with loan car and did a brilliant job. Never seen such a neat conversion. Driven/had a few LPG and this is the best conversion of them all -- no i'm not being paid by them !!
