remote key fob problem!!!!

Hi, I have a 2000 P38, ive had exactly the same problem with the lockout and having to use the EKA to start the car, after having the keyfob replaced and the imobillser checked on diagnostics i had it happen again!!

We think now it may be as i live near the severn bridge and that the radio frequencies used in the TAG system could cause problems to the Range Rover

Ive been told to have a Modified Receiver fitted to cure it,

Anyone else had one fitted??

make sure you get the modded one, if you do a serch on here you will find the part number for it. dont get one off ebay, go th main agent for it. cost £150.00

Hi all, I also live near the severn bridge. I prefer the official LandRover fix - which is free and works every time.
When this happens touch metal part of key fob to rear window aerial - works every time.

I have also found that pressing "lock" followed by "unlock" also seems to work

I keep a rabbits foot and a leprechaun on my keyring.
