Small rear window trims - fitting

Noddy question which I can't find the answer to... Took the trim panels off the small rear windows either side of the back door to get at the rear washer nut. I now can't get them back on. There seems to be one spring clip which doesn't have anywhere obvious to clip to. Help please...

No reverse and general crunchiness - baulk rings?

Hydraulic clutches seem to work better with fluid in them. Funny that.

No reverse and general crunchiness - baulk rings?

Sounds like drag then. Will check my fluids tomorrow.

No reverse and general crunchiness - baulk rings?

Don't think it's clutch drag, it's not the grinding noise, more that it feels like there's some rubbery resistance going into gear. The reverse is a complete block on engaging.

No reverse and general crunchiness - baulk rings?

Nearly got embarrassingly stuck in the station car park earlier. Symptoms: All gears engage fine with engine off Forward gears will go in with engine running but feel a bit crunchy Reverse won't go in at all with engine running, apart from two occasions (once to get out of parking space...

    Surprising...

Currently in the doghouse for drying two cars' worth of mats and sound proofing in the living room. Apparently the bathroom would have been more acceptable, but the radiator is a lot smaller.

    Bumper shipping, paisleyfreight ?

Guy who bought some tyres from me used him, as he was in Scotland. They were picked up by TNT, so I guess he doesn't do it all himself...

    Lamp mounting bracket/clamps

Long shot - anyone know where I can get clamps for mounting foglamps? I've a pair of Cibies which need a u-shaped clamp - basically a piece of flat ally strip with two right angle bends and three holes in it. I've got the bolt, but the clamps stayed with the remains of my old rally car.

Multifuel burner for my living room.

+1 for the Windy Smithy - got their Wendy in my office/shed. Good bloke who makes them too, though they are intended only for wood, not coal/smokeless. In the house I've a Dovre 425 which is stonking - 8kw overheats the front room which is 14' square and draughty - but a bit out of your...

PS these are the A/T, not the M/T, but are M&S marked. Hope that makes sense.

    4x 235/85R16 GT Radial Adventuro M&S tyres

Loads of tread but with cracks as shown (see pic - this is the worst one). They got through the MoT last time. Alloys definitely not included... I'm on the edge of Sheffield, about 10 mins from J35/35a/36 of the M1.

    Holiday pics

Main reason was travel time, extra diesel and fitting everything into the half term week. The boys' tolerance of long drives is pretty good, but you can only push it so far. As it was we did Sheffield to Dumfries after school on the Friday, on to Oban on the Saturday for the lunchtime boat...

    Holiday pics

Blew a hoolie all week, rained every day. I split the goretex in my boots on the first day and had wet feet all week, and one corner of the BRM's roof is like a sieve. Top holiday though, the light when it stopped raining was fantastic.
