maybe the keyfob battery needs replacing

ever since i had the head gasket replaced i have become paraniod about the coolant level and check nearly every day, now its colder i turned the heater to max and noticed the coolant level drop a very small amount is this normal or am i loosing it ?:eek:

Hi i had the same problem could not find where it was coming from 3 weeks later the head gasket blew,but check passenger side for wet carpets may be a leaking heater matrix.

mine went last year comes with cylinder already filled one complete unit easy to fit took me 1/2 hour and im no expert cost £50, some garages i phoned tried to rip me off and said the clutch had completley gone wanting £300 just look at how the old one clips on before you take it out.

just look at all the problems in the forums we cant all be wrong, take it back and look for a td4 which will be more reliable, i wish i had.

Hi tess shouldnt really matter as long as you use the same antifreeze if you need to top up in future, check with whoever done head gasket repair

Tried spare key fob still nothing, also rear door will not open, cant see nothing in handbook about reseting.

if i open bonnet the alarm goes off?

main battery +keyfob battery ok.

hi just flushed old coolant fluid what ratio should use to fill up i think 50/50 but not sure:confused:

Hi i would not try this myself, head may need to be skimmed? i payed £350 to have mine done and that included head skimmed, all parts and labour+ new cambelt.
