So if all the other stalks, indicator, wipers and washers etc work it would indicate that the serial link between the instrument pack and the BeCM works ok. So either the pack is not sending information about the trip button being pressed or the BeCM is not returning the information or I guess...

Ok. Had the car up to landrover place but they could not get the T4 to talk to it. Even tried putting the becm in another vehicle. Is there away to reset it or something? There main wiz guy wasn't there at the time. F.

Addendum to this: At the same time the NSR side light blew and the trip computer no longer works. I assume this is all related. Probably to the bulb going. F.

Did you actualy touch the bonnet when it stopped? Could be the "bonnet open" switch> Known to be iffy and cause problems. Or I guess it could still be that anyways if you didn't. F.

If you can't see it maybe that's why it doesn't work. It is quite far around but I don't think its attached to the same actual piece of metal as the seat latch. The aerial wire is definetely no long enough to be out of site and still attached. F.

FYI - You don't have to remove anything to see if the RF aerial is connected you can see it through the hole where the back seat latches. Its right off to the left at the same height. You will need a torch to see it. If you had long enough pliers you could even plug or unplug it through the...

I get ABS, Brake warning and TC light on when I start up. Even with hand brake off. They go out after about a minute if if I haven't moved (ABS after movement as normal but stays on until the others go out if moving). Am I about to get something similar? F.
