Hi all,can anyone tell me how to release the cable from the gearbox end. looked in the haynes manual and all it said was, release the cable from the gearbox. Great help not.:doh:

Both the engines were 3.5 so all should match. cant wait for tomorrow. Ta :-)

The return pipe go to the tank,bearing in mind it was a diesel And the carbs are su fzx1316 Ive tripple checked all the pipes and everything is present and corect If ever it dose have a problem with the fuel system and it needed to run off would it not be a fire hazard? im not really that up...

If i push them back on its back to square one. so something is a miss.:(

After more fustration,i decided to call it a f---k k,kick the wheel and slam the bonet,went home paced up and down for about an hr. Then looked on the internt made a few phone calles and referd to this forum and got the bug So i went back to it gave it a funny look,then PULLED THE RETURN FUEL...

Thank you so much people:) Fuel pump is brandnew and i will be replacing the fuel lines on wed. Also wil make sure hoses are corectly fitted tom. Looks like ive alot to look at tomorrow:eek: no worries been signed of for a week.
