A friend has just done a really nice job of putting a 3.9 EFI into his 88inch series 3, so I am tempted. Yes it will be used off-road.

Hi the brakes on my early td5 (non abs) have have started to require a fair bit of pumping before they work, when you get the pressure up they work fine but soon lose the pressure again so the pedal will go to the floor also the brake warning light (also the handbrake light) has stopped going...

I am 18, my td5 defender 90 is registered to my dad, this means that it can be on his nfu insurance policy but i am still insured as a main driver. worth a try !!
