    Tyres and radious arms

Searching spat this out... http://www.landyzone.co.uk/lz/f16/biggest-tyre-land-rover-freestyle-rim-69966.html Further googling seems to show its common on your choice of alloy. You can wind out your lock stops and further reduce the turning circle. (It is free though) Change your rims and...

    Tyres and radious arms

I ran 265/75 R16 BFG AT's on Boost alloys on my old 03 Def 90. Had no issues. Could it be the offset of your alloys?

    90 clutch help!

True. I find they do about 95% of the job. Saves a lot of leg work. Though to get that last bit you need to do it old skool. Try it on a non servo assist brake system, where the pedal should feel bullet hard. TMHM may know where I'm coming from!?! Depends if he works on that GTD.

    90 clutch help!

Try pressure bleeding it. Needs two people. Get one to depress the clutch while the other opens the nip. When the fluid stops coming out shut the nip. The person on the bleed then tells the person on the clutch to its ok to lift up and pump. You then start again with the person holding the...

    wtf have i done

Just a thought. If he has a crap normal earth, (Common for old Land Rovers) then could a well earthed radio become the earth for the starter? That's a lot of amps for a radio to take and not the good kind. Would explain a few things.

    Series 3 seats in a new 90???

Assuming your new 90 has no bulkhead, then this may be the answer. I personaly think your a bit mental putting series seats in a new 90. Not only because they are poo, but it will devaule your motor. You could always treat yourself to some of these.... .: RECARO :. Although you would lose the...

    Stage one LT95 issue.

Lol thats what 2nd gear is for. Besides the V8 is my slag. Engine will probably grenade first. I just use it to get into the forest to go mountain biking. Oh and for the occasional bit of bush bashing.

    Stage one LT95 issue.

I was guessing at detent myself. Is it internal on these boxes? Simple fix? (Only familiar with a barrel sequential shift)

    Stage one LT95 issue.

Na mate. At a guess its some sort of retention issue. There is no positive action into gear. The gear itself works fine if you hold it in. Chur

    Stage one LT95 issue.

The gearbox seems ok. No obvious whines or howls. However, 1st gear has just decided to quit staying selected. If at a junction you select 1st and don't load it on the clutch, it will just flop back to N. I'm hoping there is something external on the gearbox that could cause it? Cheers Chur

    110 Hardtop Seal/Leak

A new seal could work. The odds are you will need to seal it yourself anyway. If you want to do a proper job I'd stay away from run of the mill silicone type sealants available from the likes of B&Q etc. I'd pay the extra coin and go for something from the Sikaflex stable. I cant remember the...
