So you can see the difference of half an inch of overall height. And how won't it change the speedo reading? The speedo works on the revolutions of the wheel - a smaller wheel will be doing less distance for each revolution - it's obvious.

It looks like my tyres will be changing from 235/70R16's to 225/70R16's (long story). This will obviously effect the speedo reading (can this be changed?) by 2% - I can live with that, but will there be any other problems?

On my 1990 Ninety I used to change the thermostat when the weather changed between summer/winter/summer. Now I have the Disco 2 the heating seems to take a hell of a long time to kick in - is there a winter thermostat and a summer one as per the old Landy?
