I placed and ad for mine on here, difflock forum and pistonheads. I did vet a premium ad on ph and 90% my enquiries came from there.

Don't know if my ad still shows but I asked £2850 for mine and sold for £2600. It was a 97 P. All electrics cloth as new grabber at2 Tyres. Sold just over a month ago.

31, 1997 P38 DSE fully protected 9 yrs no claims *touch wood* was £307 when I had it with 1 named driver who had less than 1 yr full licence with Admiral.

P38spares has fuel filler release button. Look on RR.net as I'm sure there's a mod you can do to access from the boot.

Place it on the dash and feed the wire through bonnet and door shut?

Get a battery conditioner if you are going to use if infrequently.

I've used Challenger for servicing and maintenance for my P38. Can somebody PM me the details of voguese too please? :D I have in the past been referred to Kingsley Cross Country and Nick Kerner but not used either.

I've run the AT2 since end of last year and think they are a good tyre. I upped the profile from a 55 to 60.

Try Challenger 4x4 nr Aldershot. They work predominantly on Defender/Series and do plenty of fabrication.

I've used Harris Mayes. They were ok. Service work has been fine but one repair they did on the horn failed soon after. They also racked up some bills chasing electrical gremlins which I kind of felt were a waste of time. They mainly have series/Defenders and Disco 2's there though although I...

What do you mean by hardly work? Do you mean for the same amount of travel when cold as when working properly you get litlle braking effect? Worth checking the servo and any vacuum pipes.

In a manual that's normally a big sign of a slipping clutch. My P38 is the first auto I've actually owned so don't know much about auto boxes if you have one.
