i hav been looking at prices of range rover and the 2.5dse vareys frm 2ish-£6,000 mine is a 1996 N and mine has done 74,000 and has full s/h. It has custom made s/s exhaust and is stand other wise. It has scuffs on coner of bumper that previos owner did and small laker pell own bonnet it has had professional paint protectsion and is a gd looking car for age. It is avalon bule and has grey leather with none electric seats. Eney iders how much is worth

Well mine is 14.275". So can any of the members give me help as to the cause of that. No matter how i try i can't push it back down to 14.25". Can't find any reference to it in RAVE. What should i do. Desperate Preston. Please please help.

Sounds about right. Unless you have the Yorkshire and Lancashire version of Ebay. On E-by-gum-bay a 96 is swappable for a out of date egg custard.
 
When I was looking (5 months ago) most pre 99 models were very cheap. Lots of 95 to 98 models going very cheap ie less than £3000. But you will need photos posted if you want to give forum members any chance of helping. Most early ones I saw were around £1500 to £2000 with a big leap past the improved 1999 model years.

about the same as mine £10 and a big orange,somedays i would take the big orange and run!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
still being serious,at a push between £2000 and £2500
 
Don't know if my ad still shows but I asked £2850 for mine and sold for £2600. It was a 97 P. All electrics cloth as new grabber at2 Tyres. Sold just over a month ago.
