Hi, I have the same or similar, when I floor it you expect it to drop a gear then go, but instead it starts juddering as if it is starved of fuel or hitting a limiter. I like the wastegate idea so will have a look and let you know. Thanks Ian

Hi, If you got sport and manual lights flashing it's gone to safe or limp home mode which will explain the lack of power as you only get 2nd and 3rd. Could you be overheating trans fluid by increased revs as you can't get 4th and lock up. See my post on " Green M ans S lights flashing " Hope...

Hi, Just a follow up on this problem, changed the xyz switch and so far no more flashing lights, fingers crossed. It's not fun driving when you got no confidence in your car, specially when hols are coming up.

I have an amber warning light for ace coming on now and again, can anyone one tell me what it is warning, is it a sensor or fluid level. I only have a handbook in German and my German is not good. The fluid was on the low mark, I topped it up but fault is still on. Thanks Sparky.

Had same problem but also horn, radio controls and cruise controls not working. Found to be cassette round steering wheel what passes all info from wheel to car was shot, £176 lighter and new one fitted. Might not be your problem but may help someone.

Just had to use the kick down to overtake and it did'nt seem to work, it did accelerate but was jumping between 3rd and 4th. Anyone had similar and if so is it a fix I can do or is a garage job. It's a 03 Td5 and has been on a few long runs recently so it's not clogged up. Thanks Ian.
