I am going to have to order off eBay like you suggest, I just hope the postage to the UK is not too much. When removing the old transistor the legs had red sleeves on them which I placed on the new part ensuring the legs did not touch the metal casing.

I am trading in my VW Golf GTI Mk5 this week for an 04 plate Disco TD5. I was wondering what the TD5 is like on fuel compared to my Golf? At the moment I am getting at best 30mpg around town and between 35-40mpg at 60mph on the motorway. How does the TD5 compare on fuel???
