hi nick ive just sorted a problem that started out very similer but got worse effecting other parts of the electrics turned out that the fuseable links in the loom on o/s inner wing might be worth taking a look

cant see why not ove got a 200 tdi with nearly 300,000 miles on the clock i spend as much time off road as on it & tow a two horse trailer with no problems paddocks are the cheapest place for most parts good luck

no 220 all in fitted including turning up the turbo boost mines a 200tdi you cant turn up the boost on a 300 as its done via electrics it pulls like a train now even with nearly 284000 mls on the clock well worth it. it maybe a bit more cash for the egr blanking kit

sounds like you have air in the cooling system needs bleeding make sure you have heater set to hot when filling system had same problem on other cars also make sure that temp sender is ok may be reading hotter than it is good luck
