Got a problem with my disco and would apreciate some help. The Rev counter has stopped working. It does move around erratically but does not represent engine speed. Any help would be great. Unable to trace source of signal as my manual does not show it. Its a TDI and is P reg
 
the wire for this is on the back of the alternator sounds like a loose connection just jiggle them one at a time while some one watches the dash good luck
