Found the problem, The plug had been fouled due to a weak spark from a very badly corroded ht lead, Broken inside the rubber part, cleaned plugs and new ht lead set and its running fine again. FOR NOW>!!

I have the 4.0 thor disco 2, I managed to get it running on all 8 for a week or so then suddenly the other morning, it was down again on one cylinder, after faffing about with plugs and leads finally found the problem, cylinder 6, is not firing, so i take the plug out, (fit spare plug to hole)...

Well after ripping my arms to bits and killing my back in the process i managed to swap the faulty coil with one from a 1.4 fiat bravo, (The only one left in the scrappy with a coil on..!) Had to even modify a ht lead from the bravo to fit my disco as i ripped the other one in half! Fook me it...

Impossible to tell without hearing it in person, Best bet is to go over everything you can, Could be a mount of some sort ?

Just done this conversion from these instructions, Great, Perfect, Thankyou, I was lucky to have the relay already installed and wired in to my a-bar spotlights but seeing as they were coming off it was there already. Thanks again.. ;)

Hi all, Car is currently undergoing a facelift conversion, Just waiting for the hammerite to dry! My problem is this, I done the downpipe gaskets the other day, Fookin nightmare, Dont think they are original at all, Ones a dodgy subaru cat and the other is an interference fit to say the least...
