check the alternater is charging correctly it sounds like thats had a wobbly or dying thats why all the electrical / electronics are going crazy the gearbox fault appears sometimes when the voltage level drops on the system

once again my p38 4.6hse is overrevving on tickover at 2500 rpm i have changed or checked: stepper motor cleaned filters checked air sensor checked flexi pipes anyone got any ideas:eek: :eek:

i had the same problem with my p38 showing 'GEARBOX FAULT' after i had to have it jump started latter found out it was because if the battery level (voltage drops) it give a imbalance on the ecu so showing up faults that are'nt there hope this helps;) ;) ;)

it could be anything from a blend motor to a sensor not being happy a quick check is to turn the control to manual select 28 heat does it get hot then try the fan speeds do they work try all the differant fan output ie to floor to windscreen then try it on 16 cooling if it flashs up then , then...

i had the same problem. first turn off the a/c with the engine running wait 5 mins if it clears its the a/c sysytem needs checking and maybe regas and leak tested i'm a a/c enginner so it was very simple to test this where are you based as im just about to start doing mobile a/c system test and...

going on from my past pasts i have stated that ihave a problem with my 4.6 hse over reving on tick over and drinking fuel , i have noted that on cold mornings ie: 3 and below it revs up to 3000rpm then latter in the day when the air temp warms up it's fine has any one got any ideas its's...

hi everyone if any one gets a air con fault on any land rover or any other car as a fact i can regas it or pressure test it for you as i'm in the trade at very low prices a i also have a p38 and a classic range rover so i aware of most of the problems that they have i'm based in the south...

have been through the rangey and cleaned the air flow sensor (mass sensor ) checked the o2 sensors in the exhaust x2 brazed the exhaust and once again i have it ticking over at 2000rpm had normal tick over before i started:confused: :confused: :confused:

if the exhaust is blowing slightly with this cause problems it's blowing on the ball joint just infront of the cat (hopefully will get it brazed or welded today if the weather breaks)
