i say he is a 'dealer'.....he says he deals in cars (had a few outside his private dwelling). Not sure where i still stand if i do discover the head gasket/liners have gone? He did tell me on the phone last night that he and his mechanic had checked and that the head gasket had definately not...

plugs now changed to NKG's, think slightly better but dont know. Got a set of leads coming, but am now fearing coil pack.......

funnily enough, it sounded like the exhaust was blowing....but wasn't......throaty noise coming from mid/front section underneath.....

good example......rev it to say 3,000 revs, hold it there, and it doesn't sound/feel smooth

hmm....it may not be a mis-fire tho.....i am not used to the sound of a V8, but when it revs, it feels burbly and shakes the car slightly......

sounds like collapsed cat.......does it rattle when nudged with your hand? On the same note, i have black plugs and the same mis-firing through the rev range...changing to NGK plugs seems to have made it slightly better (although I could just be thinking that).....could I have the same issue...

on the subject of wheels, i am looking at a set of 18" for my 1995 4.6 HSE.....the ones advertised are 57 and 8J.....will they fit? Thanks.

Just to add, the dealer said he think there may be a slight misfire and is going to change the plugs.......what plugs would you recommend? Also, is it worth me buying some leads and if so, which ones are a good replacement and from where? ebay are selling some for £25 but not sure if any good...

Hi all, Has anyone experienced/know what might be causing a very bad radio signal on my stereo? CD's sound great, but switch to radio and there is an awful amount of interference? May be the aerial but I have not checked that yet.......just wondered if it was a common issue or if I need to go...
