After dragging my disco from a silly place my wife parked it (fortunately done at slow speed) I found that the drivers sill is just about non existant. Should I buy a new sill from somewhere like Paddock or should I make one with a chunk of box section, what options are there?

VCU? IRD? Only TD4 engines then. Any particular model etc?

I need some replacement panels for my Disco. Usual bits the rear wheel arch by the door opening, RH sill (poss LH too) and I can either patch or replace the RH front inner wheel arch. Where's the best place to get the panels. Paddock or somewhere else?

I'm thinking of getting a Freelander. I've heard that some of them suffer from over heating and cylinder head problems. Is that correct and what else should I be looking for problem wise?

Just found that my rear door handle is broken. Possibly someone trying to get in there when it was parked up yesterday. Anyway with the door locked shut the question is how do I take the door apart to fit a replacement door handle? 1995/96 Discovery Does anyone have a replacement door...

I have to do the front swivels or tractor joints on my Disco. I can"t find my CD workshop manual :( so can someone please confirm: :confused: The torque setting for the top pin retaining bolts? The preload using a spring balance (thinks it's 13lbs)? Thank you :)

My friends Freelander has just failed it's MOT on emission. Other than the usual stuff that I will be checking for them like. The air filter restricting the engine from breathing, clean it replace it. Spark plugs need adjustment / replacement. Putting in a fuel adertive and thrashing it up...

OK 45º is a bit of an exaggeration probably 30 something degree. It just seemed odd to be like that and not lined up as I expected.

Yes the spill pipes are the returns on the injectors. I guess your using the heater plugs? What's the mileage, it could be suffering from low compression on the cylinders.
