just to update lads,it seems some fookers done a bodge job with the connections on the rl sensor.its not the standard connector,just some spade end crimped connectors.could just be corrosion thats giving me dodgy readings.thanks to all that helped(especially with the software data).cheers

cheers lads,for some reason on the calibrate tab i can,t make adjustments?if i were to make adjustments from the "heights"tab how do i go about storing these figures once the car is level.i set the standard height earlier on,got all corners within 5mm,unplugged the cable and the foooooker sank...

cheers data,i thought all adjustments were to be made via the calibrate page but like i said no changes are making any differance.the only way i can change any heights is by using the"height"page but i,m not sure i,m supposed to be using it.?

ok lads it seems someones done a bodge job of the wiring to the rl sensor.i,ve clean all corrosion off terminals and the rl incorrect signal fault has gone.all i have now is"vehicle has moved"fault.can you lads tell meplease when making calibration adjustments does the engine have to be running...

no matey i,ve been doin a little research and your right the sensors are,nt swapable:(.i,m under the car tommorow to check it over,if all seems well i,ll have a play with the software and if no joy i,ll have to change the sensor.thanks again.

software measurements are.fl125,fr130,rl104,rr106.to be honest i think the cars always had a slight tilt but since the bad weathers been here its got worse,at the moment the rear of the cars in the air but lask week the passenger side was high,drivers side low not just by 5mm but approx...

nan-ber i think you,re right there mate,change the sensor,but it does,nt hurt to ask for any simple remedies before going down that route,this is my first experience with eas software and as stated not been electronicly minded i find it a little daunting,would,nt mind if the sun was out:).cheers

no wammers they are readings i,ve taken with a ruler:eek:.water contamination has been mentioned,can these sensors be taken apart/dried out?or maybe swaped over from side to side,the cars a 96dse.cheers lads

cheers lads,thanks for all replies,has someone stated i think the cables not suited to the software,i,ve gutted the obd connector/cut the usb off and soldered a db9 female on up to rsw spec,soldering and me just don,t get on.its hooked up now with a good idle so i,ll have a play tommorow see...

thanks for your replies folks,i chose the port through going into the device manager,maybe i have to clear the backlog of faults before i can make adjustments in the calibrate section?i can change the figures but when i press the write button nothing changes.the suspension works fine...

hello mate.i had exactly the same on my disco,2 garages could,nt find the problem,it done my head in,drove like that for 4 yrs,but worst is i,ve now got it on my rangie:(.i think the problem lies in the transfer box but until it blows up it won,t get changed.
