I currently have the head off my disco 300tdi. I beleive the previous owner used a paddocks £10 head gasket:doh:... enough said.... While the head is off, are there any suggested modifications that could be made to aid oil flow or increase reliability? I have ported and polished heads before...

As I'm sure you're aware, some of our lanes are being closed soon for the wet months. Is anyone up for a jaunt to be arranged on the last weekend of September on those lanes?

Question...... Does Hot Brakes + Fording = warped discs? My brakes seem to be noisy since my last outing, and movement in the brake pedal when light to moderate braking.

Just something i noticed while planning a route today - www.multimap.com is gives you the option of viewing using an OS map. This could be useful when planning laning days, without the need to buy loads of maps.
