Me and my friends all used to own Vauxhalls, Astras, Novas, Cavaliers. 
One thing we did learn when working on them was to always use genuine vauxhall front pads, otherwise they would end up getting changed every year.
My dash light is on , so it is time to change the Disco's pads.
It's my every day car, I put in 1000 miles a month, 100 of those towing, not many motorway miles and will be doing the occasional lane and off road day. Does it make a difference which pads I use?
