I have a '93 disco with the 2.5tdi engine. The previous owner fitted a rangie v8 gearbox when it started playing up, which up to now has been fine (apart from the 1st gear ratio)

Since my latest jaunt into the countryside on saturday, the gears are getting more and more difficult to engage.

This is my first landy, and probably first car with a hydraulic clutch, my question is, Is there any adjustment for the clutch? The biting point seems to be much too low, and may not be completely dis-engaging, hence the difficulty in changing gears.

No.
Well there may be some adjustment on the master cylinder, but it is for initial set up, not to compensate for wear.
More likely to be a seals problem. First thing though, have you checked how much fluid is in it? And if it's low, where is it going?

After a ride home, I've sussed it - I have a leak.

Probably something got loosened/ damaged at the weekend.

I've topped it up for now, but another one to add to the list for saturday.
