Thanks for the replies, I didn't even think of temp cover so thanks for that discopol, did that and got insured with Adrian flux today so all is now resolved :)

Well after a long time of reading through the site abut what to look for when buying a defender i finally bit the bullet. not sure what the normal ones cost but think the galvanised ones are 1045 but youll have to do a search on google to find out if thats plus vat or not,also theres alot of info on here about them so just have a quick read

i had the same response when i got insured on my disco last year,they wouldnt insure me cos i was 20 so i asked to speak to their manager and he insured me,its got to be worth a try mate!:)
