hi guys,looking to buy a defender in the next few weeks,just would like somebody to verify that this engine is a 200tdi please?the only reason im asking is its an f reg 1989 and i didnt think the 200tdi was used untill 1990,thanks for your help n advance

Looks like a discovery 200tdi, retro fitted to me. But looks like they have done a good job from what I can see in one pic.

It's a disco enjin the defender unit has the turbo on top.

Yup its a diaco lump transplant the intake is low down from the looks of the sir filter inlet hose and its very close to the bulkhead as in all 200's.
