Mines exactly the same, have tried oil changes,engine flush,hydralic lifter treatment in a bottle,good quality oil etc but it still does it,i reckon its one of them little niggles i can live with.

I just done a 600 mile trip from Oxford to North Yorkshire and back and averaged 30.1 MPG friving at 70mph on the speedo (but 66mph on the satnav!).....mines a p38 DSE Auto.

Got some pipe today, removed the plastic covers and found everything covered in diesel,on closer inspection i found the most of the leak off pipes were shot. fitted the new ones,cranked it over a bit and it started fine. hopefully thats sorted it out. thanks a lot guys
