Hi all. I hope everyone is staying sane during lockdown 2.0. I am after some guidance please. My ignition coil has packed up, yet someone has painted over it, and I’m unable to ID it. I am running a 3.5 carbed V8, with the 35DLM8 dizzy. any ideas on which coil I need? many thanks.

I brought my 2a loom a few years back from auto sparks, they were brilliant. Look was pretty good too!

I was looking for some kind of water proof plug also, but they are all rather large and an eye sore aren’t they.

Am I now going to have to buy a snorkel to hide my cabling hahaha. I think going through the rear vertical section is the way to go. It’s just a pain having to run the cables from front, to back, to front. I am just being anal, and want everything to look as tidy as possible.

I have a 2a with the wider mouthed vents and there is a metal strip that these attach to, that then attaches to the bulkhead. Would you like a pic? Or have you sorted it already? Mav

good morning all. I’m thinking of replacing my roof and insulating it, and the 2 side panels. Not only for a bit of heat, but also to dum down the rattle/echo (to make it nicer for the mrs). Has anyone got any advice/pictures from doing theirs? What’s good/bad etc. Thanks for the help. Mav.

Atleast it’s not just me that’s been having the same problem. I’m due to fit another roof soon so I shall try this when I refit it.
