Defender seats

hi all.

I’ve gone to the dark side and am going to be fitting defender seats to my series 2a.

Has anyone ever done this before? I believe I’ve read somewhere that they bolt straight in. Yet offering them up in the existing holes it seems as if the seat (drivers side) is more off set towards the door.

Is that right?

I put them in mine no problem.

You might like to take note of the too tall post as you will be sitting a bit higher on Defender seats. Series delux seats were standard on early Defenders.

Can report though that 5'10 and a bit is a comfy fit.

I’ll look into that. As I’m a shade over 6ft. I did read some positive responses regarding seat risers. I was then concerned I would have my eyeliner above the windscreen lol
