    Another corssmember question

Hi all, I have done a search but most of the posts are years old so I wanted to revive an age old Defender query. Mine needs replacing and i'm looking for someone/garage that is recommended preferably in the Kent area?

    Clutch pedal sticking 300tdi

It only did it for the first time today on way into work and then several times on the journey and when I got to work I couldn't reverse into a space. When I checked the fluid levels at lunch time I manually pushed the pedal down with my hand and it stuck down again. Took it out to get lunch and...

    Clutch pedal sticking 300tdi

Is it worth changing the fluid first and trying again?

    Clutch pedal sticking 300tdi

Well I've checked for leaks and found nothing and the level is ok. I will try the test you suggest but usually when its done it I've been in traffic desperately trying to get some gear to get moving again. The van has been sat for a while due to a coolant overhaul that took a while to complete...

    Clutch pedal sticking 300tdi

Hi all, while testing my van from an earlier coolant repair I changed gear into 3rd and my pedal stuck to the floor. I pulled it out of gear and retried but then couldn't get it into any gear. I was able to lift the pedal with my foot and get it into a gear and continue but its done it a couple...

    Coolant pipe identification help

Thanks Neilly, yes there is a clip but it seems that the hose set I got pulled just a tad too much and after settling rubbed against it causing it to split. From the above image is this the multi pipe all merged into one? If so this will be an issue as mine are all separate hoses joined at a T...

    Coolant pipe identification help

Hi all, I've upgraded all my hoses to silicone ones and all was good until one of them has rubbed on the cam belt. Can you help me identify which one this is so that I can replace it? I've marked it on the below image (not my engine) for assistance. Thanks

    Steering guard

Mine gets a beating regularly and it's taken all of without any problems. Well worth the money and just as good as many other more expensive ones.

    Part required

Just to clarify, these are for a Defender and i'm hoping to fit them in the rear cab so that I can fit fold up seats.

    Rock Slider installation Disaster....

Hi Natas, glad you managed to get your sliders fitted. Thankfully mine went on easy enough but I did have an absolute nightmare getting the sills off. With regards to a steering guard I fitted a rebel one, does the job and is a very reasonable price too.

What have you done to your Landie today.

Fitted my rock sliders, oh my what an annoying job getting those sills off!! 15 years of dirt is a real pain to shift.
