Brought a new tow rope for me 11A yesterday and today it conked out, seems to be the fuel pump, if you keep primming the lever it starts and runs ok, if you let it stand I think petrol is leaking out the pump emptying the bowl.

My gearbox is making more noise than the engine, in fact I can hardly hear the engine these days, that said it still works fine, is there a common part in the box that fails with time or is it a case of box out and replaced with recon one, never done this job before and not sure I can.
