or you could gently heat it with a heatgun and watch then turn back to black, i done this on a old mk2 cavalier, the rear bumper had gone a light grey, using a heatgun and gently heating the plastic turns the plastic back to dark grey.

Whilst the p38 was in having the starter changed, i asked the guy to check to see where my oil leak was coming from, he's advised me it's coming from between the engine and gearbox :eek:. Can anyone tell me if this is a difficult job DIY or should it go into a garage? cheers

Engine was fitted by Spencer Engines in yorkshire back in the summer, i got no paper work with the car, had sent numerous emails and phone calls to the manager, who said he would forward the paper on. This has been going on since september 08 :mad: and im now p..... off with them, so im sharing...

Also have all doors in niagra grey, 6 pin electric mirrors in epsom green, complete propshaft and radiators, resonable offers excepted .

I broke a 4.0 range rover months ago, im left with all ecu's from under the seats and 1 or 2 from the n/s passenger footwell, if anyone wants any then pm me an offer, otherwise im binning them:eek:

funny that, i hated disco's(v8 + tdi's)but i love my rangie, had it since sept 08, yes had to change the starter(brand new on ebay for £70 delivered) but hay, it's 11 years old and 160k.

Can anyone just confirm if im right, when i go to start my 4.6 p38 it just clicks on the turn of the key, if i wait 10 seconds after it works, the dash is showing a alternator fault :confused: but everything else is fine, so is it the starter then ?

a friend of mine had a cracked rad about 6 months ago, in the same place as you, in the top of the rad, the engines now in bits as his now got to replace the cracked head, £300 for the head.

I love them, yes you feel the bumps in the road but nowhere near as much as a car, the best bit is that it's taken alot of the wallowing when going round bends, plus they make the car look better than the poxie 18inch.

remove the flock and paint them in a matted colour, looks so much better.

I too have a multipoint system and it runs fantastic, the only thing i dislike is, i just wish i had a larger tank,donut tanks are fine but i just get fed up having to keep filling it every 200 miles. Changed my engine oil 3000 miles ago and it's still the same colour as when i put it in .
