Scruffy window trim ( P38 )

Any good ideas on how to refurbish the flocked trims on inside of the windscreen? The ones at the scrappies are worse than mine.

i used some of that instant valet stuff for seats. don't rub too hard or scratch/scrape as it will take the coating off the plastic!!

wot i did with mine is actually remove the flock coating down to the plastic, not a difficult job and if you didnt know any different you would think its standard factory finish

thats what i'll have to do with mine as ives knackered the flock stuff

Had the same problem the first time I decided to give the motor a spring clean a few years ago. LR changed the material and did away with the flock coating and the new ones I bought were just plastic-100% better (but around £25 as far as I can remember) and a doddle to keep clean-scrub as much as you like!

Frost sell a kit to redo the flock or it can be bought from a model shop in various colours.

remove the flock and paint them in a matted colour, looks so much better.

Remove them from the car, spray with glue, then put some new cloth over them. The cloth can be bought from Hobbycraft or similar type store.
