I think I need to find a very basic pay and play site to try out the old diff lock and other things and see just how good the Landy will perform. Anyone know of one in my area ? I don,t want to climb up walls or drive over tree trunks, just bit's of muddy rutted ground will do me.

Thanks Sean, So when I select diff lock I should not be moving. Does it help to touch the brakes lightly when doing this type of driving to fool the gearbox into thinking there is a bit more grip or have I read this this wrong in another fred.

Just be careful that some other component hasn't blown that board. Leave that radio disconnected for at least a week just in case. your pic was blurred but I could see that the board was blown badly. Could be just a board component failed and done that damage but as i say be careful for a while.
