When you grab the nose bit it turns about 1/8th of a turn and makes a metallic knocking sound. Are these hard to replace or can you get a replacent rear diff cheap? Happy with it as a two wheel drive, just want to stop the oil leak and the knocking.

It is the standard winch fixinf that will fit most winches. I have not tried fitting a steering guard, and dont see that this would be an issue though?

The mount was just under £100. The winch is bolted with four botls to the winch mount, which in turn is bolts with six bolts to the front bumper mounts and then barced back. (see the pic for one side)

Turn the bolt as in the pic, simply turn it til it stops rubbing.

Damn! Just noticed the problem is a whole lot worse than I first though. The spring (fitted by LRC last Thursday) has totally come out of the top housing and is resting against the tyre (which it has shredded) Think it will have to go back to them!
