    P38 Body Electrics Intermittent Problem

Is that as simply as it sounds? Its a Lowline diesel, so if he was to get hold of a working one toreplace his, is there any programming that needs to be done to tell it that it is in a new car? Thank you for the help

    P38 Body Electrics Intermittent Problem

Thanks for your reply. We had a look at the earths yesterday thinking that they would be the problem, and they all look good. We also took the top of the BeCM off and found it was RL7 that is clicking in and out. Thats as far as we got though! Not really sure where to go from here now!

    P38 Body Electrics Intermittent Problem

This problem is occuring on my friends P reg DSE. Sometimes everything works, but whist driving a clicking noise is heard (similar to the noise a relay makes) from the BeCM, and then he looses most of his electrics, including the climate control, radio, and wipers. The dash computer stays...

    P38 to good offroader?

Nice pictures!! Mine has ploughed on through water deeper than this, mainly in the High Easter ford pictured earlier, without any problems. I just put her into high and go through gently and have made it to the other side so far! I have had the water come up over the headlights before too...

    Air Line

Is it possible to T off off of the air compressor tank to run a seperate air supply that a standard air line can be attached to for pumping up tyres etc? I saw a lorry the other day that had a air line connection coming off of one of its air tanks and wondered if i could do the same?! Matthew

    P38 Rear Bumper Removal

No, its still refusing to budge. Ive given it a good clump, but it still feels fixed. Once those clips are free, is the bumper meant to pull off backwards, or are sides meant to be moved away from the body, and then pulled backwards?

    P38 Rear Bumper Removal

I've become a bit stuck while trying to remove the rear bumper off my p38. Ive done everything i believe to be right so far... which includes: Removing the 2 bolts either side of the tow bar holding the bumper to the chassis. Removed the wheel arch extensions from the chassis. Released the 2...

    HELP, knocking underneath p38

I get this a little bit too sometimes, but its not loud and feels like a tapping under my feet. I had a look whats there and all i thought it could be was the loose exhaust heat shield vibrating in the wind? Is that possible?

    Water in Boot

Right, i believed it to be the rear boot seal, but now i have a live worm swimming in about an inch of water in the boot! Is it still likely to be the boot seal if little animals are getting in too!?!

    Water in Boot

Sounds good! So is this the seal that goes all around the upper and lower tailgate?

    P38 Loadspace Lights?

I've added the front 2 footwell lights, the rear cubby box/footwell light, the rear 2 puddle lights (had the front 2 already fitted) and the rear 2 map reading lights. The looms were all ready there in my 98 SE. As for the load space, mine already has a light, but it is pretty poor for such a...
